The PMSOL was first created in September 2020 with 18 occupations.  It was then updated in November and again on 8 May with the inclusions of a Social Worker & Veterinarian respectively.  This latest update on 23 June significantly increases the number of skilled professions on the PMSOL list.

The PMSOL is regularly updated by the DHA and this can occur at any time.  It is likely that other occupations will be added in the coming months.

If you are a prospective skilled applicant, you should regularly check the DHA Website for updates to the PMSOL.

If you are qualified in an occupation on the PMSOL and are considering applying for an Australian visa or you are part of an Australian business that is seeking to sponsor a professional with skills on the PMSOL, Contact Us to speak with an experienced migration agent about how being part of the PMSOL will affect the skilled visa application process and ability to apply for an exemption to travel to Australia.
